Ege&Gül's Robotics Journey

According to OECD-EU data, 15 out of 100 people living in the world are individuals with special needs. Individuals with special needs face various challenges at every stage of life, starting from their childhood. We are aware of the difficulties faced by individuals with special needs. As IMC, we wrote Ege & Gül to support and inspire individuals with special needs in the fields of mechatronics and engineering. Ege is a student who uses a wheelchair due to his walking disability. Gül, on the other hand, is a visually impaired student from birth. Thanks to IMC, both characters turned to the field of mechatronics that they were interested in in their schools.. There are many prejudices due to the fact that Ege is in a wheelchair. But Ege continues on his way without giving up. Gül,conversely, designs a project under the mentorship of IMC, without giving up, to break the society’s prejudice against women who want to work in the field of mechatronics.
