First Fest

Reaching the largest audience possible is one of our biggest goals as IMC in order to raise awareness and interest in STEM fields. We think that teens and children are the key to raising awareness and sensitivity in STEM fields. For this reason, we developed our First Fest project. In our project, which we developed in cooperation with ANTİKAD and Kepez municipality, we established informative and entertaining workshops for children at Antalya Science Center. We met with more than 650 students from 10 different schools with more than 6 workshops. In our workshops, we taught students robot designing as well as coding. Alongside we used resources such as code.org, arduino and legos. We made sure to have fun with these kids while instilling a love for robotics in them and increasing their knowledge in STEM fields.
