Sustainability Documentary
Our world faces various challenges related to sustainability, the environment, and climate issues. In 2023 alone, approximately 2 billion tons of waste were produced globally. A large portion of this waste cannot be recycled and harms nature. As our natural resources are rapidly depleting, the impacts of global warming and climate change—such as extreme weather events, melting glaciers, and rising sea levels—are becoming more apparent. According to scientific data, global temperatures are projected to rise by more than 1.5°C by 2050. These data highlight the urgent need for more innovation and change in the fields of sustainability and environmental conservation.
As IMC, we focused on climate issues and sustainability through collaborations, meetings, and discussions across Europe from July 29 to August 17. During this period, we created an educational documentary on sustainability, which includes valuable interviews and discussions, providing comprehensive educational information. As IMC, our goal is to develop functional and innovative solutions for sustainability and environmental issues. We created our documentary to raise awareness and educate people on these crucial topics.
Supported by the Alstom Foundation, our documentary project involved visits to cities like Rome, Florence, Milan, Geneva, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hamburg, Copenhagen, and Stockholm—European cities known for significant sustainability projects, such as bike paths, green buildings, and green roofs. We collaborated with and gathered insights from globally recognized organizations like WWF, Greenpeace, Appennino Cycling, Fridays for Future, and Planet Farms. In these visits, we worked on solutions for environmental and sustainability issues, engaged in various discussions, and held productive meetings. We also included both educational and entertaining sections in our documentary to address sustainability challenges.
Through this documentary, we aim to raise awareness and seek solutions to sustainability, environmental conservation, and the climate crisis. As IMC, with our exemplary sustainability documentary, we are committed to protecting the future of our planet. Through this documentary and our future pioneering projects, we hope to make our world a better place.
